Coach Shawn Shenton enters his sixth year at Castle View in 2025, bringing over a decade of coaching experience, including four years as a Head Coach. He began his coaching journey at Castle View with the JV program before assuming the role of Assistant Varsity Coach for the girls' team three years ago. For the past two seasons, he has served as the Girls’ Head Coach, and the 2025 season marks his first year leading the Boys’ program as Head Coach.
Coach Josh Daddis brings four years of coaching experience and a decade of competitive playing to the Castle View tennis program. As the current boys’ season wraps up, it will mark the completion of his first year as a Varsity Assistant Coach with Castle View High School. This 2025 Boys' season also represents the culmination of his third year as a High School Varsity Assistant Coach.
Assistant Coach Mike Salokas enters the 2025 season with 17 years of experience coaching both Boys' and Girls' tennis. He spent 15 of those years as the Varsity Coach at Liberty High School in Seattle, where he led three teams to State Championships. Now entering his third season as an Assistant Coach at Castle View High School under Coach Shawn Shenton, Coach Salokas continues to bring a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and passion to the program.
Head JV Coach Matthew Morine enters his seventh year with Castle View High School's Tennis Program, bringing contagious joy, genuine compassion, and unwavering dedication to every player and practice. His coaching philosophy embodies the spirit of the program—uplifting, empowering, and, quite simply, awesome. In fact, if you look up the word awesome in the dictionary, you just might find a picture of Coach Morine smiling back at you.
